Our Services… Bardi Catering provides a complete range of services, from planning
assistance and staffing your event to managing rental items.
Alcoholic Beverages Bardi Catering is not authorized
to sell alcoholic beverages. However, we will be happy to arrange delivery from a local vendor for you. The vendor will bill
you directly. There is a 10% service charge for this service.
Facilities Bardi Catering is an off-premise
caterer serving Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Manhattan, and New Jersey. We provide catering services to other
venues such as homes, offices, churches, halls and boats. We have all the latest off site cooking equipment such as portable
ovens, stoves and grills to accomodate any type of party. The event host or hostess makes arrangements for the rental
facilities if needed. We are happy to make recommendations and can provide you with a list of event sites. Unless your
event site has its own chef and dining area, you are allowed to choose your caterer. We will contact your facility to find
out any other requirements they may have for caterers. When you select your facility, please make certain that there is enough
time for catering set-up and clean up. The amount of time needed will depend on the services we are asked to provide. For parties that dont need any other service other than the food we charge a $5.00 deposit on each of our chafer racks.
Sternos and paper goods are included in price as well as a tossed salad and dinner rolls.
Menus Keep in mind
that the above menu items are only suggestions. We can create a custom menu, taking into consideration such factors as the
time of day of the event, season and clients' special dietary needs. Discuss any budget restrictions you may have. If you
do not see something that you would like, please inquire. The possibilities are endless!
Wait Staff . Wait staff required to properly service your event can be provided at $25/hour for each server. We recommend: Appetizers ( Hors Douervres) ~ At least one server for every 40 guests Sit-down Meal ~ One server for every 20 guests
(also for events that require on-site grilling or cooking) Buffet ~ One server for every 30 guests Our staff will
provide all requested set-up and clean-up for food & beverage service. Scheduling of our staff, food preparation, delivery,
set-up, etc. will be based on the hours of your event.
Rentals Items For your event, you may need tables,
chairs, linen, china, glassware, stemware, flatware, etc. You may either arrange for them yourself or have us arrange them
for you. Typically, the rental company will charge you directly. If a Bardi Catering Host arranges the rentals, we charge
a 10% service fee (on the total amount that is charged to you by the rental company). For this fee, we take responsibility
for correct and timely deliveries and pick-up, required rinsing, sorting, and storing of the rented items.
Retail
Purchase Bardi Catering is happy to purchase needed items on your behalf. Items might include soda, ice, or other beverages
for your event. For this service, we charge the retail price plus a 10% handling fee. Additional Arrangements Other
aspects of the event, such as floral arrangements and entertainment, may be provided by the host of the event.
Tax
8.875% NY state sales tax will be added to all sales. For those customers that are sales tax exempt, please furnish
a copy of your tax-exempt certificate with your signed contract.
Deposits A deposit of 50% is required to
confirm an event and is required at contract execution. Balance is COD.
Payments At time of deposit we accept
cash or check only. We reserve the right to charge the customer $30 each time a check has to be redeposited.
Gratuity Gratuity is not included but is greatly appreciated!
